Does anyone have or know of a chicago map with BOTH the CTA and the Metra on the SAME map? I am looking for apartments and one of us will need the CTA and one needs the Metra, but I cannot figure out how the align together. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The RTA's website has a map with all bus and train lines under its jurisdiction (which includes Metra and CTA) on their website. It's a pdf file of two big pages:

If you go to a metra ticket counter ask for the RTA System Map 2007. I always keep one in the briefcase. I got my copy at the Olgilvie Transportation Center. I imagine Union Station has them, too. One side has a map of Chicago with all of the CTA Train and Bus Routes, and the Metra routes. The other side has the Metra Coverage area with all of the Pace routes.

You can order a copy on the link below as well. Under the travel link go to order maps. There is supposedly a pdf map too but the link is not working for me. It is a great map to have and it is free. Good luck!

I suggest you try this map from the CTA website. You can see CTA buses and trains and Metra lines are indicated by the blue dash marks ( kind of like this ---+---+---)and gives stops as well as the line name. (but look closely). Hope this helps

If this is the terminal on Harrison, walk some blocks to Campbell to get on the Blue line in the direction of O'Hare. the two way, take the line to Rosemont (this is going to be approximately an hour and a one million/2, almost on the tip of the line). Then grab a taxi or walk. If this is the single with the help of the ninety, this is great close, like 2 miles. this is a 5 minute taxi journey. or you may desire to get on at Cumberland. Take it one cease, then get off and flow the final mile with the help of taxi.
