Palmer House Hilton...like $79-$89 a night on some nights! (even cheaper on Priceline too!)

The Allegro hotel is always a good bet. Their standard rooms run for $99. The location's really central in theatre district too. Its a boutique hotel with some decent ameneties (romms are a tad small, but youre a tourist, get out!) and a free wine reception every day from 5-6.
